I know that weightlifting and being strong isn’t likely to be the most important part of who you are, but I also know that weightlifting and being strong is going to enhance all the very important parts of your life in ways you may not expect!

COACHED is a small, totally private, perfectly equipped facility located in my garage at my home on the north side of Scarborough, so parking and privacy is not an issue here! COACHED provides individualised Fitness Coaching services.

We are all in search of a ‘good balance’ in life, aren’t we! Not always easy, right? When that balance evades us, often the first thing we sacrifice is self-care. We are all a work in progress, but one thing I’m certain of is the importance of looking after your body and mind – investing time in your own fitness and health will make you better able to look after the people most important to you.

  • ‘I used to be so consistent with my *fitness/nutrition* and over these last *months/years* because of *life event/incident* I’ve just fallen off the wagon and don’t know how to get back on, I’m just not as strong as I used to be, and I’m so out of shape.’
  • ‘I really want to lift weights, I’ve heard it’s really good for me as I age, but there’s no way I’m going to do it in front of others in a big gym, so there really isn’t anything out there for me!’
  • ‘I’m too old to start now, I don’t know how to use any of the equipment, and I can’t learn now, can I?’

  • ‘I like the gym, but when I get there, my mind goes blank, and I don’t know where to start, I end up doing the most random workout and then leaving, not really knowing if its helped and seeing no changes or improvement.’
  • ‘I used to be fit, and now I’m not. I don’t want to go back to the gym as I am.’
  • ‘I want to exercise regularly, and I have tried in the past, but I find it hard to stick to something for long enough. I could really do with someone to help me stay accountable.’
  • ‘I’m so fed up with feeling like I do, but just feel hopeless and don’t know where to start.’
  • ‘I have really begun to notice changes in my mobility/fitness in a way that I find a bit scary and think a regular form of exercise might be a good idea, but I don’t know where to start!’
